Today doing tetorails

Change-colour

i did one of ladyGagas face and i also added whirl. moving the mouse up and down makes the colour change and moving it side ways it whirls.

I have now completed 6 tetorials and now im up to the challanges. im trying to think of some ideas for my game i want to make a sprite move and collect coins or somthing and move using the left and right aroow keys.

What am i doing today

today i am finishing the tetorials so i can start my project.

this one is called say somthing. You have to make the sprite say somthing. i made the mouse say somthing and i made the cat shake by moving it ten steps then back ten and turn back and forward and it gives a shaking effects.also used two differnet costumes.

the mouse then runs away quickley after as I put move 10 steps.

the next one im doing is called "animate it" it involves a ghost changing its costume.

i will change mine.

I have changed mine to be two differnt character but the cotume of the butterfly changes form happy to Angery and the wings change so it looks like it is moving. The script show above is just for butterfly i also added bounce back at end so it does not walk of screen.

what step im up to

ive done step one and two and im now up to three i have just completed the first example in step 3. it is really weaird because it just jumps around the screen crazyly. but the score goes up when it touches the fish. I cant figue out the reason for this but it might just be they way its soposed to be. i could not find the sound chomp so i just used meow but it does not make a difference. when the shark touches the fish it jumps back and the score goes up by one.

the next one im doing is called move to the beat, if already done one like this and instead off using the drum beat i used the piano notes and istead of the lady i used a cartoon girl doing ballet. because their is more pics of the girl doing ballet i added change costume to the script and it look like she is moving like a cartoon. the notes i used is the start of a piano piece i play called for elise. so i called it for elise.

It changes costume to the next one i choose it goes form costume one then two and then three. i also set the sprite so when you click the flag it starts of with the same sprite 1.

Scratch programing and control structures

I have been playing with scratch and making algorisums using forever and if actions.

i have made one myself it just says hello and changes colour.

The first flow chart is showing the testing of the temperature of somthing. It has desision and all aspects of a good flow chart. It realy shows weather the temp is above or below freezing.

Mine is a simple flow chart of talking your dog for a walk and returning back home. their is a desion asking if you have walked for 30min yes/no if you desision is yes you return home if it is no you start your walk again. This sample chart is not right, catch dog, and back home are actions their should always be start and end. I also was supost to put the desion arrow pointing not to go for walk but just above. I have made a new flow chart which is perfect and is the one next to the incorrect one.

Scratch

Mr lennon has show us the program that we will be using for our next assignment. i think we will be making a game and i am starting to get a few ideas. scratch seems hard to use even though it is just putting things together you have to know what each thing does.

DUE

the task is due today and i am all ready ve just fisish linking annas pages to mine and i put the home buttons on my pages.

I did not have many problems in this assignment. Just things like i did not no home to make a home button but i found out you just have to add photo widget. amd i did not no how to put my pages and annas on to the meau but i found out you have to make an external link and for mine you just have to click internal link.

But all up the task takes time but its not that hard and i thought the task was good.

Finished digial televsion topics i did not have any promblems realy ecsept I could not paste a photo on my jimdo page if i copyed it from a folder but i could copy them form a wesite and paste it in my blog which was ok for me anyway.

Today-all about the project

today i was researching my topics. anna found a nice bluetooth video could not figure out how to put it on our webpage without making it as a link. The solution was that you have to copy the url of the video and paste it into the youtube widget, and you dont have to embed it.

i have discided to do cloud computing instead of wifi or wireless broud band because i find it interesting.

Using Jimdo for our project

so far me and anna are happy with jimdo it is easy and looks afective at the same time. We started off with just one page for the both of us which was ok because the information will only over wright if we are working on the same page which would not happen but then miss showed us a differnt way to colaberate. Me and anna have both now created our own website and i have linked anna websites to mine using her differnet topic headings and making a differnt link for each of her topics which is even better and looks neater

Jindo

today miss fam is showing us jindow it is in the middle of proto page and wicxs it looks pretty good it is simple to choose a layout design because you can preview what it will look like before you dicide. The webpage is easy to rename and the tools are set out on the side of the page in an easy acssess plan.  Me and anna are looking for an easy website not one that is confusing and somthing that looks good and has easy and good features. it has on the side of the page you what you can create a different page. On the side like proto page you can add widgets. If you want to change the title you click the meau bar and the navigation and simply rename it. you can drag the pages and if you want to add a nu page you can do that by clicking add a new page. if you want to delete a page you click the page and the bin. You can choose the layout and choose were the menu bar will be. Now all we have to find out is if you can calaberate which is very important.

On jimdo you can calaberate like you can both work on a different page at a differnet time which is ok but if we are working on the same page page at the same time some work will be over righted but this does not affect us because we wont be working on the same page at the same time.

i have know started to work on my research and i have had a look at some types of 3D TV's.

protopage

miss fan showed us how to use proto page the layout is simple but its easy to us. you make seperate tabs and on each tab you add widgets to display your things. me and anna both agree that it is a good website because we can understand it. I added a video just to try it out from youtube. the class could not click it but i was able to very easily. each topic we choose we can just simply put our info on. the interface is easy to understand. and i like the fact their are alot of widgets avalable just thier for me to use. you can colabereate on protopgae it alows you to work on the same page at the same time.

Wix- mr lennon is showing us this wesite. it looks flash and all but thier is so much to learn and even as he is explaining it to us it takes along time just to figure out how to change one thing. it is very complex. To me it looks like your information will just be everywhere in a mess. to resize you have to click on a meau and click all this other stuff but on proto page you simple just click and drag the wiget.
it does have good features it has gallerys which means you can have a whole lot of pictures. And its very updated and new. it is more complecated but it has many many features. you cant colaberate on this website but thats not to much of a problem because you create your own web page.

pageflacks- just loading it up tacks along time and it already looks confusing and messy. the things still have not loaded no!!! not doing this

so far i think protopage is the best option for me and anna to use.

yesterday in ist we chose our asignment group im with anna again i think i work very well with her on our last assignment.

What is the function of CPU?

A CPU also Know as a microprocesser is the heart of any computer, and is a complete consumption engine that is fabricated on a single chip.

Last day

today is the video assignment is due and i saavaed the videos as movies one was saved as and email virsion and the other i saved as a high definition version anna could not save tham because the w ddrive did not show on her computer.

WE HAVE NOW COMPLETED EVERYTHING! and i am very happy with how everything turned out well we did not have any major problems.

evaluation of finished product

Our video is about self defence, we had to do a bit of research before hand because we did not much about it. We have also added a bit of comerdy to it its ment to be funny whilst instructional. I think the topic was a good choose because we were also abble to learn about it ourselves and it is also a very unique choose.

The main purpose was to enform viewer to be aware and how to defend them selfves if they are caught in an attack and at the same time create a humerous video the entertain the viewer. i think our video attacks all aspects as we included many humerous parts and still had the parts were we where informing

our first part of the video was filmed at the park so we could use the souroudings and one of our bloppers shows the criminal walking though the trees we wanted to create a bigfoot effect like as if it were a sighting.

The second part was planed to be filmed out side but it was to dark and the video did not show so we filmed it inside and it was fine proberly better anyway.

We played in this video a vast amount of characters thier was a reporter at the start then the criminal little girl old lady and other interviewers. we tried to fit thoughs characters and i think we did well. we also used many different outfits and hairstyles to enhance the effect.

we used my camera and it is pretty good but the only problem with using a camera is that when we were filming we could not zoom but it did not matter that much.

yesterday i went to annas house and we finished filming our video. we had all ready filmed half at my house and it is completed. we edited it and made it into a video at annas house because she has windows seven and live movie maker which helped us alot.

in todays lesson i play my video and it looks good i am happy with the outcome. me and anna put some more effects in like crossfade, roll, spin, flip to our animation. we were going to burn our video to a disc but insteed mr lennon told us to save it to the 'w' drive.

we tried playing our video but there was no sound on it after a while of confusion the problem was resolved by pluging our headphones in before we open our video.

looking at the marking criteria i discoved that we have to save the video in to different resolutions. One we are going to save as high deffinition and the other as a email video. I will save it next lesson because there is not enough time. next lesson is the last one and i belive we will be done because all we have to do now is save the videos

last lesson i was trying to up load my slideshow but it took to long, so im going to do it today.
I made my slide show on window live movie maker and i added features to my slide show like transitions duration of slide and credits and music etc..

I have completed my slide show an im going to up load it.
In addition to completeing my slide show i had a few difficulties. When i opened my slide show my photes did not open. this was because i need to save my pics in the same folder as my movie. I also had the same problem with my music so i made a new folder on my usb and saved everything like music pics and movie in that folder.

For my idea for a slide show i wanted to do somthing funny so i choose funny animals there is alot of pictures of funny animals on the net.

last lesson I searched for my photos and found alot but i only choose the ones that really made me laugh. And also last lesson i up loaded the pictures on my slide show.

The phone i have choosen after reading the article about phones is the Samsung Tocco. This phone is great for taking pictures and videos. This phone outlines all the features a good camera phone should have for example its

Animation

I created my animation to represent my house. I choose a frog because it was an animal that realates to the colour green and i found it easy to draw. I made a normal fly come in first so that it shows how powerful the frog is and shows that the fly is its pray. Then i made a banner which the frog puts up with its tounge to show that its on coolocks team. The next fly that comes in is purple to show it is on the oposing team it knocks of the banner to show his power. The frog then looks sad and crys this makes it look weak, but then the frog gets angry and this is expresed by the eye brows. To get back at the fly it eat it's and the frog is happy again.

I belive this relates to my house because my team does not give up and is even stronger the next time.

PROBLEMS

i did not have many problems but one was that i thought that i had to save all images before you export but now i realise that you only had to save some as svg. But its not a big deal because it did not take that long to export them all.

About my animation

to create this animation i used inkscape which is a drawing program i choose this because i have used it before and i find it easy to use.

making a gif

i am up to making my animation as a gif and to do that i have to use gimp. click file, save as, then name it and give it a place to save, click selet type selet gif image, click save. Dont merge layers save as a animation then click export. Make sure you select foreverlooping so that it will still play after it has finished. and then select a time that is sutible for your animation i choose 208 because it is not to fast or slow.

i have made 99 slides and i am finish but i am still to learn how to actually move the animation insteed of just clicking to change.

animation Idea

for my animation project i am making a frog. I am using inkscape because i find it easier to use and i like the tool which it has. I have made the frog and saved it as a vector image so i can change it later if i want, before i export it. When i export i should select the whole page, not just the image.My page is 500 by 500. when i save my work i should select the 's' drive.
